What is a Solar Income Village?
A resident-led solar power generation project that builds a local energy self-sufficiency foundation and revitalizes the regional economy through profit-sharing.

Eligible Villages
- Construction and operation of village solar plants
- Power sales profits used for community welfare
- Resident income return and shared profit creation
- Village assembly approval required
- More than 70% resident consent required
Project Operator
- Formation of a local-based (social) cooperative
- Participation of at least 10 residents living over 1 year
- Cooperative responsible for operation and management
- Application process in cooperation with local government
- Village assembly and board-led decision making
Solar Power Scale
- Standard scale: 300kW ~ 1,000kW
- Projects exceeding 1,000kW may be exceptionally selected
